How to access a downloaded file



Using Windows 7 or Vista, navigate to the “Start” menu. Then select “Documents.” The Documents Library is displayed. From the left pane, select “Downloads.” The downloaded files are displayed. Select the desired file.

Using the Google Chrome browser, click the “Tools” icon (looks like a little wrench on the right-hand side) and select “Downloads.” A chronological list of all downloads from the past 30 days will appear. Select the desired file.

For files more than 30 days old or to quickly find a file by name, enter the file name in the Search box and click “Search Downloads.” Your search results will subsequently appear.

Using the AOL browser, navigate to the “File” menu and select “Download Manager.” The Download Manager window appears. Highlight the desired file and click the “Find File” button.

Using the Firefox browser, navigate to the “Tools” menu and select “Downloads.” The Download Manager window will show a list of downloaded files. Right-click the desired file and select “Open” from the pop-up window to open the file.
